Daibhidh "Bites-First" Wimbleton
« on: October 16, 2016, 07:33:22 AM »

The blood of heroes is on fire within us!
The ghosts of our ancestors swell with pride to see us stand strong and true!
The Wyrm itself trembles when we howl!
AAAAUURROOOOO!

Basic  Information

Name: David Wimbleton, Daibhidh, Daffyd, Bites-First
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 26 May, 1978.
Name: Inverness in the Highlands, Scotland.
 - The Highlands are a historic region of Scotland. Culturally, the Highlands and the Lowlands diverged from the later Middle Ages into the modern period, when Lowland Scots replaced Scottish Gaelic throughout most of the Lowlands. The term is also used for the area north and west of the Highland Boundary Fault, although the exact boundaries are not clearly defined, particularly to the east. The Great Glen divides the Grampian Mountains to the southeast from the Northwest Highlands. The Scottish Gaelic name of A' Ghŗidhealtachd literally means "the place of the Gaels" and traditionally, from a Gaelic-speaking point of view, includes both the Western Isles and the Highlands.

Nature: Martyr
 - The Martyr is at her strongest when forged in a crucible of suffering. It's not necessarily macochism that drives her on her path; it may be a desire for attention, or a profound belief in the virtue of self-sacrifice. Garou society has a tendency to romanticize the heroic last stand of a Martyr, and as dangerous as the war is, following this Archetype's path can quickly lead to the heroic end the Martyr may crave.

Demeanor: Alpha
 - The Alpha wants to be in charge. He demands respect and obedience, even submission. He may convince himself that he wants power for the greater good, or he may simply believe it is his natural birthright. Many leaders, from the streets to the boardroom, exemplify the Alpha Archetype. This Archetype is common among werewolves, from those who consider themselves the best choice for pack leader to those who attempt to rise to command septs or even tribes.

Tribe: The Fierce Ones, The Fianna
 - The Fianna are one of the Tribes found in Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Strongly based on Celtic and European traditions, they are known among the Garou for their passions for the pleasure of life, their skills and ferocity in battle, and as keepers of the music, stories, and lore of the Garou. According to Tribal legends, the Fianna were born from the union of a passionate Gaillard and Danu, an aspect of Gaia which they see as the mother to both the Fianna and the Tuatha de Danaan. Other stories tell that the original Fianna were part of a Wyrm-corrupted people called the Fir Bolg. From one the Fir Bolg who repented and dedicated himself to the Morrigan, a house within the Fae folk was formed, until they left their home behind to protect their Kin. In turn, they lost their power to return to their homeland and would form the Changing Breeds as they are known. Only the Fianna, they tell, recall their origin accurately.

Camp: The Grandchildren of Fionn
 - Many young Fianna see the Grandchildren of Fionn - dedicated to the combat ideals of their ancestor, Fionn Mac Cumhail - as the perfect opportunity to prove themselves to the rest of the tribe and the Nation. They consider themselves to be Stag's chosen heroes and are renowned for their bravery, traveling whereever the best fights are: South America, the Middle East, northern Africa and wherever the Wyrm rears its ugly head.

Tribal Totem: Stag
 - Stag is an ancient spirit of respect, far older than the Fianna who claim him as their totem. An embodiment of masculinity and the unrestrained power of nature, Stag has both light and dark sides. He gives the Garou their affinity with nature, and he teaches responsibility towards humans. He is also the master of the Wild Hunt, running wild until much blood is spilled in his name. Children of Stag canít refuse to aid fae creatures and spirits when asked. They must also respect their prey at all times, including performing a Prayer for the Prey after every successful hunt.

Characteristics

Ethnicity: Caucasian
Changing Breed: Garou
 - Garou is a term used by the werewolves to identify their race and culture. The term is used nearly interchangeably with Garou Nation. According to their own mythology, the Garou were designed to be Gaia's fangs and claws and they were quite well at this. Today, after the War of Rage, they are among the most numerous Changing Breeds that still exist.

Breed: Homid
 - Homid are a breed of Garou born as and raised by humans, which is their natural form. Homids do not make their First Change until puberty or thereafter; prior to their change, many suffer from dreams and visions dealing with wolves and the wilderness. Many Homids thrive in the human world, even as Garou, but tend to falter when dealing with nature. Those who falter have a hard time coming to the realization that they belong with others of their species, with other Garou rather than trying to assimilate into the human world. Sometimes, those who deny their nature of being Gaia's Warriors try to stay and linger around homid society because that seems like where they want to be. They don't know how to break free and embrace what gifts Gaia has given them, probably due to the fact that they've spent so much time being human that they aren't ready to face the reality.

Moon Phase: War-Leader, the Spirit Warrior.
 - The Garou's connection to the moon is much more extensive than human legends state. Every phase has its secret, but human myth comes close to understanding the truth in one aspect: the full moon floods the Warrior with Rage. The Ahroun is the living weapon of Gaia, the lord of bloodshed. He is the warrior among a race of warriors, the champion of a martial people. He is ever ready to kill, and to die if need be. The Ahroun are respected, but also treated with some level of dread. Their killing instinct is inborn; even a Full Moon just past his First Change is more lethal than many veterans of other auspices. Their elders are few- it's a rare Ahroun that survives the countless battles that are his birth-right - but all the more terrifying for their experience. Like the Galliard, the Ahroun is an inspiring leader in the times of war, but he leads with deeds and action. He is the first into battle and last to retreat - if he ever retreats at all. In the times of peace, he relinquishes commands to others, but remains ever vigilant, knowing his talent for war will be needed again all too soon.

Rank: Fostern
 - Acquiring the rank of Fostern means that the Garou has grown from a raw recruit into a seasoned veteran. These werewolves have some familiarity with Garou society, and they have learned the nature of the war they are part of.

Allegiance: Gaia, the Wyld.
Hair color: Brown.
Eye color: Brown.
Distinguishing Features: The Fianna of now still carry the ostentatious appearance they acquired long ago from the joys of life, and Wimbleton is no exception. Bites-First is almost exclusively covered in revealing garments, exemplifying his masculinity and showing off his brawn - apart from that, he's covered in several amulets, jewellery and torcs, designed to draw attention to himself. If you know what you're looking for, Wimbleton's allegiance to the Fianna is more than obvious. His appearance is almost exclusively Scottish, and anyone can see the archetypical war-hero figure in Wimbleton's appearance, a merit of his adequate Pure Breed.

Height: 5'9
Weight: 81.9 kg (180.6 lb)

Family

Parents: Alasdair Wimbleton, Elspeth Wimbleton.
Siblings: Coira, Matthias.
Children: N/A.
Relationship with parents: Good.
Relationship with siblings: Unfavorable.
Relationship with children: N/A.
Marital status: Single.
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual.

Trivia

Does he smoke?: Yes.
Does he drink?: Bites-First has a hollow leg - of course he drinks, and he drinks heavy.
Is religious?: Devoutly pledges allegiance to Gaia.
Aware of supernatural presence?: Yes.

Sept

Sept: Sept of the Crescent Moon.
 - The Sept of the Crescent Moon is a coalition of Garou and selective Changers residing around a powerful caern under the patronage of Falcon, originally founded by Aleksander Lagounov.

Sept Office: Wyrm Foe
 - Responsibilities: The Wyrm Foeís responsibilities are partly practical, partly ritual. At the end of each moot, the Wyrm Foe leads the sept in declaring its solidarity with the Garou Nation and readiness to do battle with the Wyrm. More practically, the Wyrm Foe is the offensive counterpart of the Warder, in charge of coordinating the septís packs in their assaults against the Wyrm. When the sept needs to defend itself, the Wyrm Foe works under the Warder to make sure that the septís packs are armed and positioned for defense, instead of offense. Because he must submit to the authority of the Warder, the Wyrm Foe is seen as a position of lesser status, and many Wyrm Foes aspire to replace the Warder, either by serving honorably and receiving a promotion when the Warder steps down, or through scheming and challenges.

Sept Relations: Great.

Pack

Pack Names: Fangs of Gaia
Pack Members & Hierarchy: Kevin Harbough (alpha), David Wimbleton, Stephen Hoechlin and Bjorn Stark.
Pack Totem: Wolverine.
 - Wolverine is tireless and merciless, and his affinity to War is unquestionable. He draws on a bottomless fount of anger and battles on after all others have fallen to injury or exhaustion. This mindless viciousness makes him devoid of compassion or mercy, something that doesn't sit well with many Garou.

Pack Relations: Great.

Relations

[ooo] - Neutral: no judgement yet, just met, no thoughts about person.
[ooo] - Good opinion: appreciation, like.

-----

Kenneth Vallon: "A man of great accord, he truly represents the face or Stag upon us; merciful, yet ruthless in battle. The wisest of us all."
"I'm certainly sure if it wasn't for the incredible wisdom of this Moon-Dancer that rivals that of a Philodox or Ahroun, we would have died long ago. I'm incredibly thankful for this man. His life lays the foundation of the Sept of the Crescent Moon.

Odo "Fights-After-Death" Ragnarsson: "I have never met a man as savage as him, and I am true when I say this, I am glad I did."
"Fights-After-Death is a true man, glorification and honor must be brought upon someone with such beastly bravery. The man's come back, and I'm glad that he's well and safe."

Bjorn "Ironside" Stark: "Ironside is still a Cliath, but he's well on his way to Fostern. He's my packmate, I trust him fully, and I pray the anger of Wolverine does not cloud the true perception on who our enemy is."

Stephen "Sings-the-Tales" Hoechlin:
"I'm not sure why a Silver Fang - a Galliard at that; would agree to join our glorious pack, but nevertheless; his anger shines like a resounding sword upon our foes, and his words carry the weight of a thousand ancestors."

Kevin "A-Thousand-Scars, Wyrm-Ripper, Caern-Protector, Warder" Harbough: "A man of high standards, he's certainly well suited for the position of Warder."
"What can I say? The Warder's name is synonymous with strength, valor and power - and I'm glad to be his successor as Wyrm Foe."

Zachariah Novak: "He's a great guy, but he seems to be gone. Gaia bless you on your journey, old friend."

Jeremiah "Runs-through-Claws" Hrannar: "He craves for the foes heartsblood on his fang and claw, and he will obtain whatever means to enjoy that satisfaction."
"Runs-through-Claws is a good fighter and guardian. He's absent most of the times, but when he does come; our spirits are lifted.

Selene Vitalis: "Her status as judge has made her the Truthcatcher and I am glad that she is. About time we've had someone who can mediate issues on a regular basis."
"She can be a little angry at times, but I don't blame her. She can be trusted, but often times absent.

Jonathan "Trusts-the-Enemy" Heller: "Just another Get of Fenris bastard who kills a few Wyrmspawn and thinks he knows what being an Ahroun is. Treacherous fool."

Nice char, hope you start to rank up soon

"The Moon-Beasts, the ones-who-change, they are the Oldest of all, before my Father they roamed the lands.
Tarry not in the path of them. Avoid them, they are set upon us like wolves in the sheepfold. For we are of one kind, and they another. Beware their sacred ground, walk softly through their wilderness. Do not cross into the their woods, it's filled with spirits and they will seek to kill you. Avoid them for the most part, temporary victory is not worth your unlife."
