Before Birth ( 1984-1985 )
As the Cold War swiftly loomed over the world, many bright minded individuals in the affected area sought out to avoid trouble or chances of being roped into a meaningless conflict. Such individuals such as a bright minded medical professional and his pregnant wife; twenty eight year old Tatyanna and thirty two year old Aleks Petrovna. Aleks had a history fighting in conflict, as at a young age he was tasked to deploy to Vietnam in 1973 where he was trained in field medication and combat - though in June 1974, Aleks was struck during conflict and shipped home back to his loving girlfriend. After months of recovery, Aleks was released and granted his military’s equivalent of a purple heart - his wounds so severe at the time he was no longer allowed to return to the war mostly as he was not needed due to the axis hovering over victory. While back home, Aleks attended university to become a pediatric doctor, his village lacked medical professionals and he enjoyed helping people rather than hurting them. For years he worked as a highly accredited children's doctor, until 1985 where he and his wife, and first born daughter, Greta moved to San Fierro to avoid the Cold War. His second daughter was born in October 29th, 1985 in San Fierro General Hospital to which he named Niish.
An offer he can’t refuse ( 1992-1995 )
In July of 1992, Aleks saved the life of a mob enforcer who was shot - he was asked to keep quiet about this to which he agreed. This painted a golden picture for the family said enforcer worked for, he was highly skilled and had sealed lips due to this, the family was willing to induct Aleks into the ranks starting as an enforcer. This family was no joke, they were a Russian built mafia as per why he was so easily to fit in. At first, Aleks refused as it was not in his interest though he was afraid that refusing would put his family at risk, and at this point he had two daughters to feed and clothe. His new job paid well, a few shake up’s, here and there and he made enough money to put his children into a private school this was needed as both of his children struggled to learn english. As time went on, the leader of the family took a liking to Aleks, he was a talented shot, good fighter and great with medicine - they had no reason to pay off doctors and risk snitching when they had a perfectly good doctor amongst the ranks he was soon promoted to Brigadier meaning he was in charge of a handful of men and he was personally tasked with performing hits directly on order from his Pakhan. This went well for a while, though he struggled with his recent job this being the downfall of his career and family. He was tasked with taking out a snitch and anyone he was around - they located their target at home. His target was a family man with a wife and two daughters. Aleks would have had to kill the entire family, instead he refused the hit and left the ranks of his family, this enraged his Pakhan and caused him to place a hit on Aleks and his family, the task was to wipe the entire Petrovna bloodline and hide the bodies. Late one morning, the family had their items packed and planned to leave the state entirely when multiple cars pulled up to their home in east San Fierro and opened fire onto the home. The first volley of .45 rounds struck and killed his wife Tatyanna and his oldest daughter Greta, both of which received fatal gunshots to the head, torso and throat. Aleks promptly returned fire with superior firepower, he had been stockpiling weapons, one of which was an MG-42 which violently shredded the opposition. This was to be expected from the mobsters and soon a second wave joined in the first - firing into the house, Aleks was struck over thirty two times before succumbing to his injuries. Meanwhile, his youngest daughter at nine years old was struck once in her hip and had a hefty bullet graze in her throat - she passed out due to fear and blood loss. When the mobsters combed the house and ensure everyone was dead the police promptly pulled up to the home, a shootout between mobsters and police ensued and after a five minute gunbattle with the heavily trained San Fierro SWAT department, the area was secure. While Tatyanna, Aleks, and Greta were pronounced dead at the scene, Nish the youngest daughter was rushed to the hospital via airlift and granted life saving aid. The young girl was in the hospital for six months, relearning how to walk and talk - being in so long that she had her birthday party while in physical rehabilitation. Nish Petrovna was released into FBI custody on November 5th, 1995.
Witness protection placement ( 1995-1997 )
The FBI struggled to keep Nish safe, as men would constantly attempt to perform viscous assassination attempts on the child, the best bet was to move her far away under a new name. In April of 1996, Nish was renamed Caelin Stonebrooke and moved to Red County within a small town called Palomino, Caelin handpicked this location as she loved horses and a Palomino was her favorite kind of horse. Before being allowed to be in public, she underwent extensive vocal training to hide her Russian accent, it was deep but after a few weeks she was allowed to attempt a normal life. Though due to circumstances she struggled, Red County lacked a proper school, and an orphanage. This was unknown to the FBI at the time who left her in the hands of the local Sheriff, Thiago James who soon disappeared due to unknown circumstances. After some time, Caelin started to notice some strange events happening in town. Often times she would wake up in random areas, weak as if she lost blood. One night, after trying Marijuanna for the first time - Caelin walked home taking her shortcut as she always does when she was scooped up by a man who promptly dragged her into the sewers. The man was a Kindred and was using her to feed for weeks without her knowing, though this time a hero followed the duo down. As the Kindred was biting her, Caelin was ripped from the arms of her attacker, causing his fangs to rip through her neck. If she didn’t feel the bite, she for sure felt that - her blood levels swiftly decreased as her jugular was cut. Caelin cried and begged for help, her eyes slowly closed as she died though by some grace, she awoke in her bed with full memory of the situation. From then on, Caelin was aware that some of the stories she was told as a kid were real, but she was unsure what was reality and what was fake. She wondered if Vampires were real, then are ghosts, demons, and angels? She soon got her answer. After being alone for so long, she struggled with depression and had to do something to help herself. Caelin set off on a violent criminal path, robbing and holding people at knifepoint - to some degree she made a lot of money with enough to fully open her own Orphanage at age twelve she had a fully operation house for unwanted children with six residents and two staff members. Though for some unknown reason the local government shut the orphanage down violently and the residents were soon displaced, many of which, dying from the cold while others others died from the violence occurring around town. Caelin sunk all of her money into the orphanage and was not reimbursed by the opposition, she was broke and hungry and once again set off performing criminal acts to earn money she needed. She had no family, no food and no roof over her head and it was a cold winter. One dark evening, Caelin tried to rob the wrong person - when holding the man at knifepoint he got closer, his soothing voice convinced her that he was not a bad person though upon lowering her knife the male beat her down violently defending himself against the small twelve year old female when she collapsed from her injuries she landed on the blade of her knife, it was sharp and ready to work - thus she stabbed herself in the stomach on accident. She began to lose a lot of blood and upon the Red County Sheriff’s department arrival, she was cuffed and arrested though her arresting officers knew her and liked to mess with her, instead of bringing her immediately to the hospital the Deputies drove her around Red County, letting her bleed out as punishment for her crimes. Caelin despite begging for help was merely laughed at - though they soon allowed her to get treatment for her wounds and was released back into custody of the RCSD, where she was arrested for Attempted Murder and Robbery. Though due to her age and mental health issues, she was granted parole by a very skilled public defender, she has not re-offended since then as a robber though had to perform other unspeakable deeds for money, this just to feed herself. Caelin’s mental health slowly diminished as she’d often be a victim of violent supernatural attacks, between her witnessing crimes and often badmouthing the wrong person one of which she was decapitated and later revived with full memory of her head being ripped from her body, this caused her to develop heavy post traumatic stress and anxiety, though she grew violent towards supernaturals often attacking opposition on site before they could react. Caelin is personally responsible for killing over 6 weak kindred and one Fallen Angel this does not mean she is skilled, it means she was lucky enough to obtain the drop on her target and acted before they could react.
