"To change, one must be willing to break their limits."
"To break their limits, one must be willing to crawl in blood, sweat and mud."
"I've crawled through it all."
"I will always change, for better."

The Doctor is seldom interrupted from his work. When he turns to you, a face of a tired man is revealed; held together to continue his science and art only through the sheer, raw willpower that he possesses and the augmented body that grants him such advantage.
When you ask, there's only a momentary hesitation, before he speaks.

"Tell about myself? I don't often tell that much about myself, but... sure. Why not."
"I was born in a countryside near Moscow. It used to belong to the Soviet Union, nowadays it's just Russia. I wouldn't say I miss home horribly, but... I might return one day. I have unfinished business. It's personal."
"Other than that? I'm a man of science. It's my passion, my everything. You see, through our work, we could elevate all of humanity to something greater... something that could change all of us forever."
"It's a dream my brethren share, I'm certain. Though, I'm not sure how quickly we'll get there."
"But enough about me."
Slowly, the Doctor rises from his seat. You could've sworn that he didn't seem like it, but he seems taller- larger than you initially expected. A deceiving appearance of the weakness, hidden below the exterior of being perpetually tired.
He walks. Closer, and closer.
He stops just before you, inspecting you better, first- like a studious man would examine his subject.

"Let's talk about you instead. Tell me..."
"What can you give me?"
