To join our Department, you'll have the meet the following requirements:

Character Requirements:

• Your character must be a legal U.S. Citizen;
• Your character must possess a valid driving license;
• Your character must possess a valid firearm license:
  Firearms License (2 point merit) or Certification (Background);
  If your character does not have a firearms license or certification, you can be issued one once you pass the Cadet Firearms training.
• Your character must be 21 or older;
• Your character requires a clean criminal record, or explicit permission from the Sheriff to apply;
• Character Sheet requirements: Law 1+; Drive 2+; Firearms 2+, Investigation 1+.

Player Requirements:

• You must have above-average English fluency.
• You must have at least 10 hours of active playtime in the current month.
• It is preferred, but not necessary, for you to use voice coms.
• You must have a basic grasp on the WoD combat system.

Academy Cadet
Applicants who have no prior knowledge of Law Enforcement roleplay nor IC experience in those departments may join as a Cadet. This application is simpler. You will be assigned an IC instructor who will prepare you for your subsequent examination. As a Cadet, you have up to 4 weeks to prepare for your examination but can submit a request at any time you wish.

Deputy Sheriff Trainee
Applicants who have had prior experience in Law Enforcement may skip the academy stages. You will receive a short exam within 72 hours of your application being handled. If you pass the exam, you will become a Deputy Sheriff Trainee for the next 4 weeks. If your performance is satisfactory, you will be promoted to Sheriff Deputy I.

(You are expected to familiarize yourself with the procedures, penal code and such before attempting the examination.)
