3. Essay

3.1 Tell us some things about yourself: I am Zephyrus Wolf, born and raised in New York city. I have always felt like I was drawn to law enforcement. From a very early stage I had a passion for law and wanted to become a lawyer however life had a different path for me and I ended up in the law enforcement career. However once I did become a part of law enforcement I fit in just well and enjoyed my work which greatly opened me up to new experiences.

3.2 Provide an overview of your education and upbringing: My father always wanted me to pursue education so I graduated from Brooklyn Public High School and briefly attended college; graduating with a degree in LAW. As fate would have it the NYPD was hiring and I was offered a good position. I enrolled in the department as an officer bonus I and soon worked my way upto the detective bureau to have a greater leeway over day to day affairs.

3.3 Why have you decided to join the Sheriff's Departemnt? I have shifted from New York, it is a change of scenery and I have decided to follow up on my previous career choice as it is really important for me. Not only does this job bring me mental satisfaction but I wholeheartedly pour in my efforts which further make me want to stay. My days of being a beatcop are long gone so I am mostly interested in the detective bureau now.

3.4 What are your expectations from this job? Personally I expect the department to acknowledge my efforts and prepare a good response. I don’t expect much. I am used to surprises and mostly improvise in situations. I have a knack for coming up with solutions to volatile situations and I can pretty well defuse high risk situations.

3.5 Define the skills you possess that are well suited for the department: I believe I have a skillset that well suits the department. Honesty integrity professionalism and experience. I graduated from the academy at the top of my class and therefore I was taught to be honest and value integrity from a very early stand in my career. I also believe I can stay professional and stay calm which is very important in a small town as this.

3.6 What were you previously employed as? Provide a brief overview of your past careers: Was previously employed by the NYPD as a detective; worked closely with the special research wing of the FBI on many occasions. Distinguished service medal holder.

This shouldn't be accepted because you don't qualify for anything other than a cadet at most.

Whether he gets accepted as a cadet or not does not change the fact that the application is full of shit.
