Demon Hunters Guide

For the house rules of this race, please refer to this topic.

What is a Demon Hunter?
In the nights when the Fallen have escaped the Abyss and now roam free amongst mankind with their own agendas, some mortals dare to take it upon themselves to purge the world of these filthy abominations. These mortals are especially dangerous against the Fallen and possess forbidden knowledge to combat the Fallen as well as a vast array of rituals that include summoning, exorcism and binding such Fallen.

Now one might say that the Fallen were once the holy Angels and they know far better than any mortals. That's true but their imprisonment in the Abyss weakened them. To survive in the material world they have to possess a mortal host. Demon Hunters are the backlash against the Fallen. Their purpose is to hunt down such abominations and wipe them off and they might justify it as doing God's work. These hunters pose a risk to a Demon when they give away their identity by excessive lore usage. The hunters can then pursue these Fallen and punish them for their actions. Most of them serve the One Holy Being Above but some may say that they're chosen to protect humanity against God's failed experiments.

“Tread carefully O'Fallen Angels, these mortals exist to end your miserable existence”

Tactics and Equipment

Teamwork:("Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.")

Truly, teamwork is a gigantic key to achieving a better future. A Demon Hunter cannot take down a Fallen on his own, he would require a group like him that is dedicated to pursuing the forbidden knowledge and to eradicate God's mistakes in the grand scheme of things. These terrifying mortals, however they try, are mortals at the end of the day. They can be bested out by a Fallen and easily lose trail of their target. That's why the Demon Hunters have the need to band together and let synergy take it's course.

Equipment:

  • Vial of Holy Water(Purified by the appropriate ritual)
  • Alot of weapons to combat Demons physically
  • Occult library pertaining notes and studies of Demonology.
  • Purified and holy objects to repel supernatural beings.
  • Alot of powerful Allies and Contacts to provide you with the right information and the right tools.
  • Knowledge of the holy rites and rituals to use against Demons.
