Nerrisha Mecha
« on: May 09, 2014, 01:34:32 PM »
edit in 2018: one of the worst characters that has been kept from the original VHRP. point and laugh, kids. point and laugh.
((draft))

Legal Name: Nerrisha Mecha
Original Name: AF-NM-TS-5 (Atilliary Facilities Neuron Modified Test Subject Five)
Age: 25
Previous Occupation: Atilliary Facilities voluntary control group, waiter at multiple restaurants, joined the army temporarily, Private Mechanic.
Current Occupation/Job: Police Officer (Administration Officer/Lieutenant)
Education: Atilliary High School - Tremorton University
Personality: Nerrisha herself is a kind, clumsy yet cheerful woman, but likes to feel in control of situations. (Hence using pills and such to hinder her split personalities from taking over.) She gets easily scared in situations, especially when things don't make sense but yet still happen. She also can be corrupted by sympathy, causing her to judge situations too quickly and take the side of the one who appears to be innocent first, sometimes leading to becoming tricked.

In her line of work, she tends to become very paranoid when shit gets down, often resulting to using weaponry and forgetting proper tactics, which could lead to her undoing. Under normal circumstances she's kind and hard to provoke, but when push comes to shove she'l probably shoot you in the leg until it detaches.

She has a split personality disorder which causes her to switch to a different persona along with a change in eye color to represent it. It is unknown how this came to be, as Nerrisha herself doesn't know why or how it happens. She is aware however that it was caused from severe human testing back in Atilliary Facilities, which she escaped from long ago. The personas themselves are actually always active, and a constant conversation occurs in her mind between all of them, with one persona taking full control of the body. The personas seem to interfere with Nerrisha's conscience, giving different suggestions constantly which Nerrisha has learnt to block out. Because of this, she is immune to angel/demon whispers.
While the personas take over randomly, a particular persona may force to take control in a particular situation to help, as all the personas are aware of the situation. For example, in a dire situation of hand-to-hand combat or tactical gunfire, Ness will attempt to take over to make use of her army training knowledge. However, due to the pills that Nerrisha has been taking, it is very rare for the personas to take over, although they still may swap through personalities when Nerrisha gets extremely scared or excited.
Hobbies: Carpentry, electronics, cruising.
Likes: (Depends on personality) Nerrisha herself likes excitement mixed with safety, likes to follow the law, and always falls for cute things.
Dislikes: Mean people, things that don't make sense. Also hates messing up (which is often.)
Preferred weaponry: MP5, Tazer.
Stance: Lawful Good
Religion: Atheist

Quirks: Her eye color changes according to the active split personality. These personalities may (or rarely may not) know what had happened from the other personalities.
The personalities, according to the eye color is as follows.
Color: Name - small description.
__________
Hazel: Nerrisha Mecha - Normal self. Third most sensible one in all the personalities.

Green: Ness - The most sensible one in the group. Claims to have been a drill sergeant and treats people with the "Toughen up, soldier!" attitude, often correcting people who are higher than her in position of authority, and even shouting at them in severe cases. She treats other people with respect but keeping her unfriendly army tone. She calls people "Civilian" "Officer" "Sir" or "Criminal" or more depending on who they are.

Light Blue: Kathy - 9 year old girl that is very emotional. Tends to cry about pretty much everything.

Pink: Whistles - Naughty, arousing woman. She claims to have been jailed in her past of a reason/s she does not say, and has also claimed to have been a waiter in a restaurant and performed prostitution.

Purple: Dorothy - Retarded idiot who can't tell which hand is her left or right. Nuff' said.

Black eye with white pupils: Misery - Permanently sad/depressed girl who is most probably the second most sensible one in the group of split personalities. She can not feel humor and often sees everything as boring and unfunny. She is also not be frightened by weapons and threats which is one of her main flaws, leading to robbers and such using weaponry on her since they canít scare her. She says she canít feel pain either, as she has "been through too much of it", but this is unlikely as it is very easy to knock her out.

Yellow(Wide open eyes): (Curio's Curious Personality) - This was a Robot to Human experiment, using a missing personality chip from Curio the Bike. It's the curious personality; This personality is random, asking questions persistently and stating obvious facts at random times.

White : BLANK - BLANK occurs when Nerrisha suffers from extreme emotional shock, when anxiety causes the personas to swap so rapidly that none of them gain control. The iris loses its pigment temporarily, causing the eye to appear completely white or reddish. In this state, her body will enter Rapid Eye Movement sleep, and will dream of being in a blank white plane with her other personas formed in a line, represented as consistent representational appearances. They are able to speak about the situation, or simply stay silent until Nerrisha gains control again. This may be interpreted as a "Hard Reboot" of the personalities.

Title: Project Neuron Modification Beta (AF-NM_02)

Date: 14/2/1951

Class level: N

(If you are not of the specific level or above, report to the appropiate level'd staff for the misplacement of this report.)

Description: This project is aimed to genetically modify humans from the point of conception using our advanced modern day technology. Cells have been donated through the Atilliary Facilities Voluntary Group Program.

Side Notes:
"We should probably leave such a project for the future. Sure we're considerably advanced, but I don't think we're ready to start messing with humans yet, nor is it really morally right." ~Assistant Professor Nigel Router
"I have faith in this project. THIS is where the future is. People won't need to take the horse or train to get to places, they'l FLY there with wings!"
~Professor Ashton Mault
"The project has been given A GREEN LIGHT. Experimentation is allowed to begin on THE SIXTEENTH OF MAY, 1951 as ordered by THE CURRENT ATILLIARY CEO." ~ATILLIARIES FACILITIES FAX
"I think you accidentally printed this to the Level Js, doc. Stop gettin' all excited and see where you're writing. Thankfully I'm the only Janitor in this place" ~The Janitor
"Meet me in my office, you're getting promoted, Dave." ~ATILLIARY FACILITIES FAX
"Please note that you do not need to make a report if there is a miscarriage or life-threatening malformation unless there is an anomaly." ~Professor Ashton Mault

(If you are not of the specific level or above, report to the appropriate level'd staff for the misplacement of this report.)

Description: The baby was born with severe inflammation on the head. The eyes appeared to be dysfunctional but the pupil still reacted naturally when a light was put close up. On closer examination, the back part of the brain had been detached from the front lobe in an unorganized fashion. The test subject soon stopped breathing and died when the back part of the brain collapsed on itself.

Side Notes:
"Disappointing, but this does show that we can split the brain, I guess. Let's try to change the method." ~ Prof Ashton Mault
"I think I'm going to be sick. Can't we test on animals for this?"~ Assistant Professor Nigel Router
"I think we have something here, but my appetite for lunch sure is gone now." ~ Prof Joseph Peterson

Sub Title: AF-NM-TS-2

Date: 8/1/1951

Class level: N

(If you are not of the specific level or above, report to the appropriate level'd staff for the misplacement of this report.)

Description: The test subject was born relatively fine. However, it did not react to anything and performed vital functions only. An anomaly was detected when the eye pigment changed between blue and brown randomly, but the test subject  was unable to move the extremities (Hands and feet) and died due to choking when we attempted to feed it milk. On closer inspection the brain has been physically split into many parts with severe internal bleeding, some nerves were observed attempting to hold the parts of the brain together unsuccessfully. The cerebellum was deformed and detached and the pons was pressed on by rest of the brain, causing it to also become deformed and damaged. The change of eye color was not able to be explained, but it ceased when the test subject died.

Side Notes:
"We're getting there." ~Prof Ashton Mault
"I think I'm right to believe that our genetic mutation is causing the brain to split apart. We need to try change our method so the brain doesn't fall apart, this is terrible." ~Prof Joseph Peterson
"The brain seems to be splitting into all the parts which have a specific function rather than simply splitting randomly, there's a pattern to this."~ Ass. Prof. Nigel Router
"What's up with the change in eye color, were you hallucinating during your report?" ~ ATILLIARY FACILITIES FAX

(If you are not of the specific level or above, report to the appropriate level'd staff for the misplacement of this report.)

Description: The test subject was born apparently fine. It proceeded to perform the normal functions of a child, crying and showing curiosity on it's surroundings, albeit uncontrollable trembling of the extremities (Fingers & Toes). The eye color was blue. We fed it baby milk without a problem until it began to cry excessively while drinking, refusing it. Prof. Joseph pointed out that it's eye color had changed to green. The eye color then changed to purple (Not a natural pigment) and then it stopped breathing and died from suffocation. On closer inspection, [REDACTED].

Side Notes:

"It was all fine until it forgot how to fucking breathe." ~ Prof Ashton Mault
"I think it's eye pigment is somehow connected to it's behavior, but that's quite unlikely, but possible." ~ Ass. Prof Nigel Router
"Are we like, killing babies?" ~ Prof Joseph Peterson

Description: The baby was born with no problems. Female and Caucasian. It is somewhat anomalous that the little amount of hair actually present is purely white. The eye color is Hazel and did not change. It performed normal human behavior expected of a baby. No problems occurred.

Side Notes:
"IT'S A PERFECTLY NORMAL BABY, WHY THE HELL ARE WE KEEPING IT?" ~ Head Prof Ashton Mault
"Keep the baby under constant surveillance. Professor Mary Susan may take care of the child as her own within factory limits until further notice." ~ATILLIARY FACILITIES FAX
"I think something is different about the baby. We better keep an eye on it. I'm glad that this one seems normal. It's better than holding an exploding baby like last time." ~ Prof Nigel Router
"It's adorable, I don't really mind the white hair on it, it looks absolutely adorable. I didn't know we could make babies from a [REDACTED] without using [REDACTED]." ~ Prof Joseph Peterson

Class level: N

(If you are not of the specific level or above, report to the appropriate level'd staff for the misplacement of this report.)

Description: The test subject, estimated to be 11 years old, is showing good progress. We have nicknamed her Nerrisha and she's grown to accept it as a personal name. Strange behavior was noted during dinnertime on 1/1/1979 when she started to demand chocolate before finishing her meal. The anomalous part is that her eye color had become blue and seemed to act much younger than she is, showing mannerisms of a five year old and a tantrum to match. She stopped mid-way her tantrum to say sorry and continued eating. Her eye color had become Hazel again. You guys did tell me something about noting about eye color, right? Also, she keeps telling me about her imaginary friend called Kathy wearing some coat from the 1930's. I'm a tad confused but I'm just shrugging it off and being nice to her for now. ~ Prof Mary Susan

Side Notes:
"This is odd, it appears that the eye color seems to be linked to it's behavior like the previous experiments, and seems to not merely switch from them, but both are constantly active. We need to see what's going on in the brain of the test subject." ~ Prof Ashton
"Don't call her an "IT", and try not to kill her." ~ Prof Mary Susan
"Let's not get too attached, Professor Susan, but I understand why and I respect that. The child will be having surgery next week as ordered by Ashton. If everything's fine we're going to be adding something in there that we've been working on off-paper." ~Ass. Head. Prof. Nigel Router
"Keep that girl away from me." ~ CEO Advisor Dave

Title: Project Neuron Modification Beta (AF-NM_02)

Sub Title: AF-NM-TS-5

Date: 2/5/1988

Class level: N

(If you are not of the specific level or above, report to the appropriate level'd staff for the misplacement of this report.)

Description: The test subject has been merged with the Robot to Human project due to the sturdy spaces in it's brain. It is an AI Chip from one of our failed experiments called Curio the Bike. We've given it some freedom to control her body by attaching the neurons to the chip. It currently is able to control most physical actions that require the use of hands, arms, legs and feet. The inner part of the body however is still controlled by the pons of the brain. The chip is able to read and mimic her actions from her memories, such as walking, everyday speech and expression.

On closer inspection, the brain seems to be in good condition but every part appears to be split multiple times. Prof Nigel Router suggests that every "Split personality" appears to be using a specific part of the split organ as their own. This was proven when we measured overall brain activity. Interestingly, when it is in the standard "Nerrisha" personality, it uses all the brain to perform, but does not seem to utilize it entirely. A list of all the personality to eye color has been clipped below.

Eye Color : Personality : Brief Description
Hazel : Nerrisha Mecha : The default/natural.
Light Blue: Kathy : A young girl under the age of ten stuck in the 1930's.
Purple: Dorothy : After some difficult attempts of conversation to gets it's name, we're assuming it uses the smallest slices of brain and hence can be considered retarded.
Yellow: Curio : highly programmed robot personality of curiosity, logic and fact. Does not utilize much of the brain.
Green: Ness : Seems to have been formed after letting Nerrisha watch too many documentaries on the US Army and war. Thinks she's a drill sergeant and uses up most of the brain when active.
Pink : Whistles : Hypersexual female. Formed from reading ex-professor Johnathon's porn stash. Is bisexual.

Side Notes:
"YES, YES, YES, YES, YEs, YES, YeS, YESSSS" ~ Head Prof Ashton Mault
"Looks like we have our first genetically modified unstable girl. I don't think that's very good. Society musn't see this." ~ CEO Nigel Router
"She eats all my food and blames it on Nerrisha. I'm getting a little confused here." ~ Prof Joseph Peterson
"I knew that Johnathon was no good." ~ Ass. Head Prof. Mary Susan

Spoiler for secret irrelevant stuff, not relevant to this server, temporarily pasted here:
Snippet of a speech from the Science Convention in Las Vegas by the CEO of Atilliary Facilities, Nigel Router, in January.

"We've been working on project M-A-U-L-E-R since the 1940s, and although it did not have the same aim or name as it does now, I can tell you, we had no idea we would one day be working on one most revolutionary creations of the twentieth century. Back then we used to be smashing sticks and stones to do any science, with over sized calculators the size of the very hall I stand in.
[Few chuckles from the audience and Router himself.]
We used to base our operations on what was available at the time, you know, radio waves and such. We had no idea, no clue of the vast advances in science that would be available to us in the present. But now, after so many years, we're here, and we're almost ready. Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to preview to you tonight, what's become the facility's most anticipated creation in the history of mankind. The world's first mobile, autonomous, fully-mechanical law-enforcement robot..."
[Nigel stretches out his right hand, indicating to the crew to lift the cloth off the hidden figure. The crowd gasps as the tall, blue humanoid figure is revealed to them, it's blue eyes staring motionlessly into the crowd.]
"I present to you, the Mobile Autonomous Unit & Law Enforcing Robot mark five, though we here at the lab nicknamed her Nerrisha, because we based it's human features on an unnamed Russian female individual who participated in it's creation process. This machine can identify suspects from a specified mobile source and then use face-recognition on said criminal, detain said criminal into a cruiser, operate a vehicle and, with the help of a human supervisor, place the suspect into jail, all tested and verified to work. We have ensured into the programming that Nerrisha, as I shall nickname the machine from now on, will not hurt any individuals in the process of it's work.
[A sigh of relief from the audience is heard, along with some skeptical murmurs.]
The machine has also been upgraded with the best text-to-speech program, with pre-programmed speech such as the miranda rights, orders to stop committing a crime, requesting backup, and is capable of pronouncing every number along with proper spacing between the letters for better clarification. I truly believe this will be the most revolutionary application of science since the personal computer."
[Some laughing in the audience is heard, and clapping fills the hall as Nigel Router moves back to make space for the host of the convention, who takes hold of the mike.]
"If anyone has any questions for mister Nigel Router about the Mobile Autonomous Unit and Law Enforcing Robot, please line up in front of one of the microphones, and wait your turn. Please speak clearly into the microphones and make sure your questions are answerable. Be reasonable with your questions, and leave when your turn is done."
[Many ques line up, and questions begin being answered.]
"I have a question. How can you ensure this robot knows who's a criminal or who's not? You can't just depend on the database, some people give warrants based on a person's reported appearance, which means your face-recognition simply won't work."
"Ah, yes, we did think of this. The robot is not meant to fight crime entirely on it's own, you know. Nerrisha was designed to accompany another officer as a partner. We've programmed a system where the officer can shout out a code-word and point at a person, and the new suspect become's added into Nerrisha's personal identified suspect database, and will begin to give chase. It can be a little bothersome to have to point and shout while making sure the robot is looking at you, but I can tell you from tests in the lab that it always works, even with people with radically different accents. The robot is also equipped to identify every kind of police uniform in the San Andreas State, including smaller departments such as the Fort Carson Sheriff's Department or the Red County Sherrif's Department. Trust me, we've checked."
[The person goes away, and another comes up to the mic.]
"I have a question. What happens if an error pops up and the robot cop thinks a normal civillian is a suspect and detains them? It's not the first time I got arrested because of a mistake in the central database. The addition of this will amplify it by hundred."
"I will tell you, you've got a very good point, so thank you for asking. If you remember, I stated that this machine will always be under supervision of a real, human officer who knows who's a suspect or not, and can intervene. Officers will be given a button to cease Nerrisha's current actions and return to the officer. We've thought of these things, don't worry, you won't be arrested by our little gem here if the rest of the department knows about the error."
[The person goes away, and another comes up to the mic.]
"What about firefights?"
"No. We are not putting a gun into Nerrisha. There's a tazer installed for suspects it fails to detain, but this thing is not going to fire any weapons. Trust me, we've tried. It was an absolute disaster. It's not happening. IT, is, not, happening. We have left NO programming of the ability of holding and using a firearm on Nerrisha. Giving a gun to a robot where anyone can be a target and anyone can be an innocent civillian is out of the question, not to mention the aim would be horribly off due to her programming to constantly re-balance herself. It's just, no."
[There is a pause as Nigel sighs, calming down from his outburst. An awkward cough urges him to continue.]
"We have however installed some bullet-proof armor in case it does happen, though if the gun's strong enough enough it'l easily tear through it's mobile joints and render it immobile or broken. Though now that you mention it, the team should probably add to it's programming a sound-pulse check, that if a shot or an explosion is audible it will automatically take cover from the source by crouching and moving beside an object. At least it will allow the capable human officer to shoot down the threat without having to worry about metal-butt getting her butt obliterated by a gun. Thanks for your question, this consideration is very useful."
[The person goes away, and another comes up to the mic.]
"I have a question you fat oaf, what's stopping the modern hackers of today from stopping this monstrosity if it goes rogue and tries to kill everyone? How are you supposed to stop a six foot tall metal monster trying to rip your neck off?"
"Well, my aggressive concerned friend, the robot is not programmed to kill. This is a very crucial point I am trying to make here. If a hacker does hack her system and identify random civillians as suspects, well, the supervising partner would notice and stop Nerrisha's action. We've made sure of this by setting the check for the manual deletion of an order to highest, and the priorities of orders are prefabricated and there are no options to change them, so even if this mobile unit WAS hacked into, the partner would simply keep pressing the button until all her internal "orders" are cleared, rendering such attack useless. Don't forget that the supervising officer can take Nerrisha to the station for maintenance or to be deactivated. And she can be turned off, but I'll only let the police department know how, so she won't be able to walk around if she's hacked or anything if she isn't being supervised because she would be kept deactivated."
[The person goes away, and another comes up to the mic.]
"I have a question, well, don't you have any idea of rights? This poor thing is going to be chained to work all it's life without any rights, you heartless~"
"Let me cut you off there, young lady~"
"you're a heartless monster, creating machines for your own~"
"Lady, please. This is a science convention, not a liberal convention. The liberal convention is next door. Also, do you give rights to your toaster? Do you let it nap, perhaps make a little cosy bed for it to feel comfortable in? No, you don't. So stop treating machines with rights and stop harassing this convention."
[The person gets carried away by security before she can attack Nigel Router on the stage, and another comes up to the mic.]
"Uh, I have a question, for uh, about the robot I mean. Does she uh, does she feel or have emotions? That would be super hot."
[A long awkward silence is heard as Nigel Router facepalms really really hard, and responds.]
"Same as before. It's a robot. It doesn't have feelings. We just programmed some generic happy, neutral and angry expressions into the face according to it's Order and that's it. It doesn't "Feel" anything. It's a robot. And by the way, this isn't an anime or cosplay convention whatever, this is a science convention, so for the sake of humanity and science stop bringing your filth here. And there's children for goodness sake, think of the children."
[The person goes away in infinite shame, and a little kid comes up to the mic as Nigel Router gives a big, fake smile for the kiddie.]
"Weel the offssr be a nice to me?"
"Yes, the officer will be very nice to everyone that isn't a suspect. It's even has nice things to say to people like "Hello" and "How is your day" and "Good morning", according to it's time-clock."
"Yaaaaay! I wanna hug the wobot."
"Please don't come up the stage, little boy."
[Security gently leads the little excited kid away, and someone else comes up to the mic.]
"Question about the project, Nigel. When will it commence? And in what department and jurisdiction?"
"That's a good question. We're still working about some quirks, and we're going to add the hide from gunshot function mentioned earlier, so I would approximate about three or four weeks tops. As for the department, we're sending message around San Andreas to accept our prototype into use in their department. Although, we're reluctant to have it in the large cities. A robot could easily get lost by it's supervisor partner in the big city, so a small county would do best. Perhps the Bayside police or the Red County Sheriffs Department would like to agree to join the program. Oh, I forgot to mention there's Fort Carson too, but it's got a lot of sand which we haven't tested running capabilities yet. But until then, we're aiming to have one of the small county departments take part in our project, to see how things turn out. Alright, host just told me times over. Thank you for witnessing our prototype today. And Nerrisha, I believe you have something to say?"
[Nigel Router looks to the right of the stage at the humanoid figure with a fake smile. The humanoid, blue-clothed figure had not moved at all during the whole convention, but now twisted its head stiffly towards Nigel with a silent purring sound of the machinery. It then speaks right on cue in a very text-to-speech manner, like a female narrator.]
"Affirmative."
[The figure turns their head towards the audience, suddenly changing it's neutral expression to an uncanny smile, raising it's arms with open hands.]
"It has been, a pleasure to meet, you all here. I can not wait to, work in a police or, sheriff's department, and protect the citizens, such as your pleasant selves, against the forces of Stop in the n~. Against the forces of evil. I will prove myself to be, a worthy member of, the department. Thank you thank, for visiting the show today. Goodnight."
[Nigel wipes his forehead with a nearby napkin as the robot then proceeds to wave artificially at the audience, then lowering it's arms down and walking artificially behind the stage curtain. Nigel Router then waves to the clapping audience, still wiping his sweaty forehead.]

PGing. Simple as that.

"She has a split personality disorder which causes her to switch to a different persona along with a change in eye color to represent it"

Does that exist for humans, no.

"she is immune to angel/demon whispers". Are you serious?

It is a nice addition to your character, I do like it, but.. you bring unfair advantages over yourself without permission.

Meh. Get permission or block it out, sorry.

PGing. Simple as that.

"She has a split personality disorder which causes her to switch to a different persona along with a change in eye color to represent it"

Does that exist for humans, no.

"she is immune to angel/demon whispers". Are you serious?

uh oh, someone is mad at me, i better duck and cover

Anyway, I'm dropping the AI Chip due to the time setting. (Originally Nerrisha was created for the VHRP server, where it was further in the future, it doesn't make sense for an AI chip in 1992. But I'm not dropping the multiple personality thing, it's Nerrisha's main focus as a character and makes her unique and enjoyably quirky.
Spoiler for Character List:
Nigel Router, Neen Router, Vistina Router
Dick Peterson, Gabnen Wilmero
Aluz Yin, Katrisha Yin
Elizabeth Thigh, Sarah Thigh
Dave Devee
Kira Kuro
Penelope Pink
White_Dog_4632 (Tame Wolfie AKA Thunder)
