Damien Meark
« on: October 28, 2020, 05:04:40 AM »

Name: Paul Adalrich

Known as: Damien Meark

Alias: Bruiser

Sire: Uther Thorne

Sire's Status: Deceased

Age of Embrace: Fourty

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 240lbs.

Clan: Brujah
Spoiler for Hiden:
Quick to anger and always passionate in the Modern Nights, they have been regaining their position as a clan of lofty philosophers and activists and are often pointed to as a clan of unruly rebels and roughnecks that should not be messed with. Due to their inherent clan weakness, all difficulties to resist Frenzy increases by two for Brujah characters, to a maximum of 10. The Brujah's Compulsion is that the vampire takes a stand against whatever or whomever they see as the status quo in the situation, whether that is their leader, a viewpoint expressed by a potential vessel, or just the task they were supposed to do at the moment. Until they have gone against their orders or expectations, perceived or real, the vampire receives a two dice penalty to all rolls. This Compulsion ends once they have managed to either make someone change their minds (by force if necessary) or done the opposite of what was expected of them.

Clan Sub-Sect: Individualist
Spoiler for Hiden:
The Second, smallest, and most successful sect is the Individualists. Mocked by most of the Clan, this sect rides the line between the other two. The average Individualist is probably an anarchist, but would rather be responsible for himself first and try to teach the rest of the world to do the same. They are often loners, but do have loyalty to their Clan.

Nature: Deviant
Spoiler for Hiden:
The Deviant is a freak, ostracized from society by unique tastes or beliefs that place her outside the mainstream. Deviants are not indolent rebels or shiftless “unrecognized geniuses”; rather, they are independent thinkers who don’t quite fit in the status quo. Deviant Archetypes often feel that the world stands against them, and as such reject traditional morality. Some have bizarre tastes, preferences, and ideologies. Extremists, eccentric celebrities, and straight-up weirdoes are Deviant Archetypes. Kindred deviants may observe heretical or outlawed habits like diablerie or deference to elders, and they may well go Anarch or Autarkis instead of having to constantly defend their subversion of Traditions or Sect customs.

Demeanor: Rogue
Spoiler for Hiden:
Only one thing matters to the Rogue: herself. To each his own, and if others cannot protect their claims, they have no right to them. The Rogue is not necessarily a thug or bully, however. She simply refuses to succumb to the whims of others. Rogues almost universally possess a sense of self-sufficiency. They have their own best interests in mind at all times. Prostitutes, capitalists, and criminals all embody the Rogue Archetype. Kindred Rogues include diablerists, Autarkis, and a Primogen who puts his Clan’s opportunities before the supremacy of the Kindred as a whole.

You hold so much potential in this World but only come to realize it when your way of life is at stake. The Passion that drives most of you inspired me through the centuries. Observing and living among Kine has taught me very important lessons, both good and bad. Yet, only a handful of mortals are worth taking a keen interest into.

This separation brings death to both you and I, fellow Kindred. But you fail to understand that and cling onto your Sects like whores to a sugar daddy's wallet. I get it. The young would give anything to gain influence and power, even their own libertas. I was one of those fledglings three centuries ago, lost and seeking for a place to belong. I've seen the full spectrum of various ideologies and I can safely say that I would rather not be involved in any and be left to my own agenda. Those few Kindred with whom I've gained some sort of closure with may find me on their side at all times, to the death if need be. And the rest that seem to dislike me can go to Hell for all I care.

The Werewolves, among other Fera seem to be fighting an unending war against a part of their Triat that has gone mad. Most of them are mindless, feral and utterly useless in anything other than biting like a rabid animal that needs to be put down before causing more damage. And then there are a few exceptions that would surprise even the eldest of my people. It is from speaking with these specific individuals that I was able to garner insight on the war they were waging throughout the years. How blind can you fucking be?

Can't say that I'm impressed by most of the Merlins in this town. I could've sworn that in the past they were the one driving humanity forward through their overachieving and miraculous magick. But yeah, that's all in the past. Save a few of 'em, the rest just run around like mutts in heat, fucking anything that moves.

The Fallen are all in the same. Anything and everything they say is a lie and the same goes for their actions. They bait you with promises of power, seducing the youngest of my kind with promises of great power. But at what fucking cost? To be cursed not once, but twice? Those who accept Thralldom are just as bad as the enslaving Demon. I've heard of stories where most Thralls were given the illusion of choice, where they were forced into becoming a Thrall in order to save themselves from Final Death. And I do not blame them for that, each individual seeks to extend their existence on this realm. Desperation can drive one into willing slavery. It's funny, really. Here I am, shunning Demons and Thralls, yet my people persist to do the same with ghouls and forced embraces.

Had it not been for your most recent appearance of Elves, my opinion of the Fae would have remained as low as it was. I cannot say much about them as I barely have scratched the surface regarding their lore, but what little I've seen has intrigued me greatly.

is he any different than your last brujah char, christ even in appearance he looks identical   :D
The English language is like a blade in three ways. It can cut deep when wielded with competence. It appreciates pageantry. And like the blade it does not care for gender.

Well, yeah, I would sure hope so, considering he's not an Individualist and is of a completely different nature. And he looks nothing like Wylcoff lmao!
