Correct me if I'm wrong, afaik Discern (Judgement 1) works in such a way that it allows its user to notice the abnormalities of a supernatural (so not the aura or their scent, just some minor details and characteristics) and identify them among humans/mortals.

In these cases, imo, merits like Blush of Health (VtM) and Master of the Masquerade (LotC, Toreador), etc. should be able to slip past Discern (Judgement 1) and vampires should still appear as mortals to the specific hunter(s).
